FAQ;
All questions answered for INBXX

"When will the LDO-motors kit become available?"

- We are currently verifying the quality and components, after this process we will put them in production and ship them among LDO's reseller network. Our expectation is Q1 2026, before INDX start shipping.

"What are the dimensions of the INBXX versions?"

All specifications can be found in the back of the manual. As for the dimensions;

"I just purchased COREBOXX, what are my options?"

I really tried recycling the parts, but I could not reach the targeted demands I set for INBXX, such as the size and strength. Therefore, INBXX requires a complete new kit. However, if you have purchased COREBOXX after 18-08-2025, please contact me at the contact form, and include a screenshot of your purchase. I will get you a 30% discount for the digital files package on the Printables, or 40% if you purchase it at my own website. The hardware kit unfortunatly willl not have a discount.

"Which hardware kit do I need for my printer?"

The first thing to look at is the multi-material system you have. For MMU3* you need the rewinder versions, for INDX the SpoolRollers are neccessary. Then choose the "Single-Story" for the 4-tool version, or the "Double-Story" for the 8-tool version.

The digital files packages always include files for all configurations, and the kits are complete for the maximum amount of supported spools.

* For MMU3, it is not advised to put INBXX below or aside the CORE one, because that will increase tube lengths signifficantly. Therefore, COREBOXX is still the generally adviced route to go.

"Does INBXX have Filament sensors, NFC support or Automated loading?"

Currently no. All of the above are not currently implemented, but are planned as part of the Semi-Smart V2, likely coming somewhere  Q3 of 2026.

For now, I can advice the "Bowden Speed Loader" design from "MrFlippant" to aid the loading procedure signifficantly.

"Is it really airtight enough for drying?"

INBXX is enclosed enough to keep a dry environment. This also means it is really ment for Maintaining the dry state of filament, instead of actively drying it. I am looking more into isolated panels and seals as a later add-on to go with Semi-Smart V2.

"Will the INBXX allow a fully enclosed Core ONE?"

INDX itself requires a top hat for CORE one, this is included with the INDX purchase, and should be installed.

"What is INBXX-XL?"

INBXX is fully scalable, INBXX-XL will be an enlarged version of INBXX with a 500x500 sized top and 3030 extrusion frame, ment to support the larger printers like Prusa XL and Voron 2.4/Trident 350mm versions.

"How does the Print calculation sheet work?"

To prevent it getting corrupted from more people working on it at once, it is read only. Copy/ download it to change the values in the C column.

"What about CORE one L?"

INDX will come to CORE one L shortly after the CORE one version starts shipping. It is not yet decided by prusa if it will supp[ort 8 or 10 tools . In theory INBXX will work for the larger brother, but it will look off since INBXX is smaller. A poll on discord will soon be done to check the preferences of the community.

"Why are there so many typos???" ;)

Yeahh I know.. My keyboard was broken so I typed a large part of the manual with a keyboard that inserted 0-3 characters at random for some presses. If you see any I missed, please send it to me on Discord or Printables :)
